Hi, my name is Alan!
I’m a Canadian character designer and educator with over 20 years of experience in animation. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with studios such as Disney, Netflix, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, and Sony Animation, helping bring characters and animated stories to life.
I’ve also spent many years teaching character design and life drawing at the college level. My goal is to make the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career accessible to other artists, helping them build strong fundamentals, think more clearly about design, and create characters that feel alive and authentic.
